The NewtonPAC will have our first ever evening open PAC board meeting with Superintendent David Fleishman and Assistant Superintendent for Student Services Dr. Judy Levin-Charns on Wednesday April 29 at 7pm. in room 210 of the Education Center, 100 Walnut Street.
The topic will be Small Group Programming for children with special needs in Newton: how do we identify the need for programs like Boost, Spark and Reflections, the process to go from an identified cohort to a program, and how these programs are evaluated. There will also (hopefully) be time for questions.
We have been asking for evening meetings with Dr. Levin-Charns and Dr. Fleishman for a while, so please try to attend if you’re interested and help make this a successful meeting. Any questions, please email Eileen Sandberg at Eileen. Sandberg.newtonpac@gmail.com .
