The Newton Parent Advisory Council for Special Education (NewtonPAC) will have our first open PAC board meeting for this school year with Dr. Judy Levin-Charns, Assistant Superintendent for Student Services.
The agenda for the meeting is the introduction of new staff, and we will also have
Amy Geer, Assistant Principal for Student Services at Oak Hill Middle School
Victoria Vendola, Assistant Principal for Student Services at Day Middle School
Kate McCarthy, Head of the Special Education department at Newton North High School, and
Alison Mountford, Coordinator for Therapeutic Services and Psychologists for the district.
This should be a great opportunity to meet them and hear a bit about their backgrounds, and ask questions.
The meeting will take place on November 13 from 9-10 am., and will be held in room 204 of the Education Center, 100 Walnut St, Newtonville.
My apologies to everyone who can’t make it during the daytime hours; in the spring we will hold an open PAC board meeting with Dr. Levin-Charns in the evening.
